Fatemeh Gorji, a master’s degree student at Semnan University, who was arrested by the Ministry of Intelligence forces on October 14, 2022, was sentenced to one year in prison, 74 lashes, a two-year travel ban, and a ban on participating in any political and social groups and parties. She was charged with insulting Islamic sanctities, disrupting national security, propaganda against the Islamic Republic regime, insulting officials and authorities, and disturbing public order and peace.
