Finland hands over 15 military bases to the United States

Finland will provide the United States with access to 15 of its military bases.

Finland announced that it will sign a defense cooperation agreement with Washington on Monday, December 18th.

According to this defense agreement, US Army forces will be stationed at 15 military bases in Finland.

This will allow US military forces to have access to the entire northern European country, which shares a border with Russia.

These areas include 4 air bases, a military port, and access to the northern railway in Finland.
