The first train carrying exports from Afghanistan after a few days of delay in Iran has set off towards the Turkish border

The first train carrying exports from Afghanistan set off towards the Turkey border after a few days delay in Iran.

Iran Railway Administration says the first train carrying exports from Afghanistan has headed towards the Razi border in Turkey, and the administration has announced readiness to transport the next train of Afghan commercial goods.

Earlier, it was reported that this train, carrying 10 wagons of export goods, got stuck at the border between Afghanistan and Iran and was abandoned.

Iran Railway explains that the reason for the delay of this train was due to the lack of border and customs permits, as well as a permit from the Iranian railway.

Iran Railway emphasizes that establishing a permanent rail trade route between Afghanistan and Iran requires meeting the necessary standards and standard administrative procedures, including obtaining relevant permits.
