The scene of the confrontation between the character Arman Bayani in the ‘Snake of Tehran’ series with his school supervisors has sparked various reactions, leading to a complaint from the Minister of Education against the creators of the series, considering this scene as an insult to the teacher’s position.
In this scene from the ‘Snake of Tehran’ series, a deputy headmaster of a boys’ school repeatedly physically punishes a student for various reasons, and when this student grows up, Payman Maadi, as the retired supervisor, kidnaps him and threatens revenge.
On his Instagram account, Payman Maadi referred to the character of the school supervisor in the series as an artificial character, not representing the real members of their profession with all their strengths and weaknesses, like other main characters of the series.
This actor and cinema writer also mentioned that the creators of this series have a belief and conviction aligned with the sincere educators in valuing and respecting the importance of proper upbringing of children in a society.
