Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Denies Summoning Swiss Ambassador to Sepah

We deny the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoning the Swiss ambassador to the Sepah.

Naser Kanaani, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, regarding the exchange of messages between Iran and the United States through Turkey and the statements of Turkish officials on this matter, said, ‘I cannot confirm that the US government has sent multiple messages through diplomatic channels in the past two to three weeks due to the complexity of developments and Iran’s determination to respond decisively.’

The most important diplomatic channel of Switzerland as the guardian of US interests has been used. The US has also sent messages through other channels, to which responses have been given through the same channels.

Kanaani, regarding the statements about the Swiss ambassador summoning to Sepah, said, ‘Relevant authorities have denied summoning the Swiss ambassador to Sepah. Switzerland has been the most important channel for diplomatic message exchange.’
