The spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry says the decisive role in the negotiations is held by the US government.
Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, in an interview with ISNA
Claims regarding Russia’s obstructive role in reaching an agreement are a diversion in the Vienna negotiations process. The main party that must take responsibility and help make the negotiations productive is the American side. The fact that the US occasionally makes claims about the Islamic Republic of Iran or Russia’s role in the negotiations is deflection. As we have emphasized before, the decisive role in the negotiations is held by the US government, and even Europe is precisely behind the US government in this regard.
