The foreign ministers of the Group of Seven have condemned Israel’s actions to legalize five settlements on the West Bank shoreline.
In part of the statements published on the German Foreign Ministry’s website, it is stated that Israel’s settlement construction is incompatible with international laws and is detrimental to the peace process.
Representatives of the Group of Seven, composed of Germany, the United States, Britain, Canada, Japan, France, and Italy, have also urged Israel to transfer all blocked tax revenues to Palestinian self-governing bodies to maintain regional economic stability and security.
