French Negotiations with the UAE and Saudi Arabia in the Energy Sector

French and Emirati Negotiations in the Energy Sector

Catherine Colonna, the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Abdullah bin Zayed, the Emirati Minister of Foreign Affairs, have held negotiations to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries in the energy sector. The French Minister of Foreign Affairs has made an official visit to Abu Dhabi and has been warmly received by her Emirati counterpart. The latest developments in the regional and international situation were also discussed by the foreign ministers of both countries. The French Foreign Minister has met and held talks with Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh. Colonna has also met and held discussions with Abdulaziz bin Salman, the Saudi Minister of Energy. In these meetings, the two sides discussed prospects for peaceful use of nuclear energy, as well as areas of cooperation in renewable energy and electricity.
