German and Austrian Ambassadors Summoned to Iran's Foreign Ministry

The ambassadors of Germany and Austria were summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry

Following the summoning of the heads of Iran’s missions in Berlin and Vienna after the Islamic Republic’s missile attacks on Israeli territory, known as Operation Promise of Truth 2, the ambassadors of Germany and Austria were separately summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry on Thursday, October 3rd, corresponding to the 13th of Mehr.

According to IRNA, the Director General of Western Europe stated that the actions of the Islamic Republic’s armed forces were in line with the principle of legitimate defense as stipulated in Article 51 of the United Nations Charter and took place after two months of restraint, aimed at contributing to the establishment of lasting peace and security in the region.

This Foreign Ministry official added that, from the perspective of the Islamic Republic, if European parties had taken effective and practical measures, including cutting financial and military support to prevent Israeli aggressions in a timely manner, we would not be witnessing such tragedies today.
