German Foreign Minister: We are increasing pressure on Tehran

The German Foreign Minister says we are increasing pressure on Tehran.

Annalena Baerbock sees the execution of Mohammad Mehdi Karami and Mohammad Hosseini as a reason for further pressure on the Islamic Republic.

The Foreign Ministers of Britain and the Netherlands have also criticized the execution of two Iranian protesters, while the arrest of protesters continues. The German Foreign Minister wrote in a tweet on Sunday, January 17th, that Mohammad Mehdi Karami and Mohammad Hosseini are not just two names, but two individuals with a horrifying fate. According to him, their execution encourages Germany to increase pressure on the Islamic Republic, along with other members of the European Union.

Annalena Baerbock emphasized in this message that the two young protesters were hanged because they did not want to remain silent against the regime’s violent and inhumane actions.

Baerbock has repeatedly criticized the inhuman nature of the Iranian regime in recent months.
