The government’s efforts to reduce the emigration of elites

Jamejam newspaper reported the announcement of the Cabinet titled ‘Regulations for Supporting Iranian Elites’

According to this announcement, the government has planned to support these groups through various means including housing facilities, insurance support, allocating 20% of the capacity to attract members of the academic community to elites, providing research-based support for the establishment of joint investment companies in free economic zones and science and technology parks for Iranian elites.

This is while last week the government announced its support for non-Iranian elites, which includes providing services such as special residence, banking facilities, facilitating work permits or business licenses, continuing education conditions similar to Iranian citizens, issuing SIM cards, and insurance services to these individuals.

The claim of supporting Iranian and non-Iranian elites is being made while according to statistics published by the Iranian Migration Observatory, currently, nearly 70% of senior managers and business owners are considering emigrating from the country.
