Half of Russia’s crude oil transportation fleet has been halted.

The intensification of Washington’s sanctions against Moscow has led to the halt of half of Russia’s crude oil transportation fleet.

A significant portion of the massive fleet of oil tankers that Russia uses for exporting its crude oil has been halted due to US sanctions.

A Bloomberg investigation shows that approximately half of the 50 oil tankers that have been under US sanctions since early October have halted the loading of Russian oil shipments.
