The head of the Election Headquarters in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad was removed from the birth certificate when voting.

The head of the Election Headquarters in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad stated that in the twelfth round of the Islamic Consultative Assembly elections, the criterion for voting is identity verification systems, and there is no longer a need to stamp the birth certificate.

According to IRNA, Seyed Javad Hashemi Mehr announced on Friday among reporters in Yasuj, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, that due to some opposition media outlets attempting to misuse the stamped birth certificates to disturb public opinion, this year the stamping of the birth certificate has been removed to eliminate ambiguity and make participation in elections non-compulsory.
