Hemihan Newspaper: Raisi's Presence on Instagram Means 'We Are Worthy, You Are Not'

The newspaper Ham-Mihan: Raisi’s presence on Instagram means we are worthy, you are not.

The newspaper Ham-Mihan considered Ebrahim Raisi’s presence on Instagram and his attempt to get a blue checkmark as conveying the message that you, ordinary users, are not worthy of using this platform, and only we, the elites, have the merit to use it.

The fact that the president and his government members simultaneously use filtered platforms while justifying the filtering under the pretext of conditions is a contradictory point.

In previous governments, we also witnessed members of the cabinet using filtered platforms such as Twitter, but at least they did not verbally endorse filtering and even made unsuccessful attempts to lift the filtering.
