Hossein Shariatmadari, the director of Kayhan, wrote about the action of the French publication Charlie Hebdo, stating in the December 13th note that closing the Strait of Hormuz to oil tankers and commercial ships of the mentioned countries was mentioned as one of the powerful and regret-inducing levers to counter the crimes of America and Europe.
Now, this serious and certainly logical question is posed to the honorable officials of our country, not just the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: why do they not use this legal right of the Islamic Republic of Iran to counter regret-inducing actions against the crimes of hostile countries?
