Hossein Shahrovi is being tortured.

Hossein Shahrovi, a 28-year-old climber, was arrested on November 4th in Chaharom Mahsa Amini.

A source close to his family told BBC Persian that after a few days in Tehran’s Evin Prison, he contacted his family and told them that he had been severely tortured and interrogated, and was forced to confess under torture.

The source also said that Hossein Shahrovi has been tortured multiple times with simulated executions.
