Ibrahim Raisi and Vladimir Putin, the presidents of Iran and Russia, met and held talks on Friday at the Kremlin. One of the main focuses of this meeting was the urgent effort to stop the bombing of Gaza and lift the blockade.
The President of Russia described the growing relations with Iran in this conversation, referring to major infrastructure projects, common interests, and cooperation in the energy sector.
Mr. Putin also announced the signing of agreements to create a free trade zone between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union in the final days of December.
Ibrahim Raisi also condemned the Israeli aggression in Gaza, considering Israel’s military operations in Gaza as genocide and crimes against humanity, and emphasized the urgent need to stop the bombing of Gaza.
