Intentional attempt on Trump’s life discovered explosives in attacker’s car and home
American media reported that explosives were found in the car and home of a 20-year-old man who was identified as the shooter towards Donald Trump.
This is the latest development announced in the investigations into an attempted attack on the former US president on Saturday, which failed and caused minor injuries to Donald Trump.
The FBI has identified 20-year-old Thomas Mathew Crock as the assailant, and The Wall Street Journal and CNN reported on Monday that explosives were found in his car parked near Mr. Trump’s campaign rally site.
The Associated Press also reported, citing two unnamed police officials, that materials for making a bomb were found in both the car and the home of Thomas Mathew.
The news agency also reported, citing two law enforcement officials, that the weapons the attacker used to shoot at the Republican Party nominee in the election were purchased at least six months ago by his father.
