Investigation of the Black Box of Diakal Cargo Plane in Lithuania Begins

The investigation of the black box of the Diachal cargo plane in Lithuania has begun.

German media reported a day after the crash of the Diachal postal company’s cargo plane in Lithuania, which resulted in one death, that the black box and cockpit voice recorder of this flight have been found and announced that technical investigations to determine the cause of this incident have begun.

According to the Lithuanian Ministry of Justice, the flight data recorders of the crashed plane and the cockpit voice recorder were extracted from the wreckage around noon today, Tuesday, November 26th (6th of Azar), and are set to be examined. Experts say that now, with the help of this black box, the unclear cause of the crash can be clarified.

In this regard, Arūnas Paulauskas, the Chief of Police of Lithuania, stated in a press conference in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania and near the crash site, that the investigation at the crash site will be completed in the coming days. He said, ‘I think the field investigations will be completed within the next two to three days, after which a new phase will begin: the removal of the plane wreckage from the crash site.’
