Advisor to the Iranian negotiation team: If we don’t expect sabotage from the U.S. in case of an agreement, we are naive.
Mohammad Marandi, advisor to the Iranian negotiation team, stated in an interview that Iranians want an agreement to be reached as soon as possible, but they also want to ensure they do not fall into the trap of a bad deal. If the Americans have loopholes, which they are seeking, Iran has no doubt that the Americans will ultimately use these loopholes to sabotage the agreement. If we expect the U.S. to behave differently, we are very naive.
