Iran still does not have plans for nuclear weapons

Iran does not currently have plans for nuclear weapons.

While reports indicate an increase in uranium enrichment in Iran up to 84%, the director of the CIA stated that Washington believes Iran has not yet made a decision to resume its nuclear weapons program.

According to William Burns, the head of the CIA, the Islamic Republic has not yet made a decision to resume its nuclear weapons production program. Burns said in an interview with the Sibyas TV network, whose promotional teaser was broadcast on the evening of February 25, that as far as we know, we believe that the Iranian leader has not made a decision to suspend or halt the nuclear weapons program that we mentioned in late 2003.
