Iran’s national women’s team under-18 defeated Uzbekistan.

Iran, defending champion in the Central Asian Kaffa Cup, won the first match in the city on Tuesday under the guidance of Maryam Jahanjati.

Maedeh Birang, Tania Jahanshahi, Maryam Dehni, and Samieh Esmaili scored goals for Iran. Esmaili was selected as the outstanding player of the match.

Atena Tavakoli, Fatemeh Mohseni, Stayesh Feizali, Mina Babavieh, Asal Ghajarayan, Mehrnaz Ezzat-Abadi, Parnia Rahmani, and Zahra Khanlarzadeh were among the other starting players for Iran in this competition.

Iran’s women’s team will have their second match against Turkmenistan. They lost their first match 3-1 to Kyrgyzstan. Tajikistan is also participating in the five-team Kaffa Cup table.
