Iranian student pays tribute to Qasem Soleimani, University of Stockholm holds extraordinary session

An Iranian student’s tribute to Qasem Soleimani at the University of Stockholm has led to an extraordinary session being held.

Simultaneously with the widespread reaction of the students at the University of Stockholm to an Iranian student’s tribute to Qasem Soleimani in his thesis, the university council held an extraordinary session.

According to Swedish media reports, following this session, the department manager at the university stated that paying tribute and showing respect is not considered a scientific matter, and the defense of the thesis will proceed as planned.

Sweden’s S and T television network mentioned Vahid Saadat-Talab, a doctoral student in environmental chemistry at the University of Stockholm, who referred to Martyr Morteza Motahari and Qasem Soleimani as heroes on the front page of his doctoral thesis.

This action by Mr. Saadat-Talab has sparked a widespread reaction among the students at the University of Stockholm, and some of these students have announced that they will protest at the location of the defense session if it takes place with such writings.
