On the fifth day of the competition hosted in Malaysia, Melina Abbaszadeh conceded the first match, but Ghasa Rahimian passed her opponent in the following game.

In the doubles section, with a decisive match under the coaching of Negineh Sheikh Sarraf, the Iranian girls won two sets in a row to claim a 2-1 victory in this important competition.

Iran’s national girls’ tennis team suffered defeats against Malaysia, India, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan in the second group of the competition, but achieved their first victory against Singapore.
