Iran’s Foreign Minister: The European Union should stop some of its members from supporting Israel

After meeting with the High Representative of the European Union in New York, Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister, wrote in a message on the social network X, formerly Twitter, that in this meeting, I emphasized that the European Union should stop some of its members from supporting Israel.

In Araghchi’s message, it is stated that I had a beneficial conversation with Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs, about a range of topics of mutual interest or concern, including nuclear negotiations, the dangerous current situation in the Middle East caused by Israel’s aggression against Lebanon, the Ukraine conflict, and also the necessity to avoid double standards in relation to human rights.

The High Representative of the European Union for Security and Foreign Policy met and conversed with the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Tuesday night in New York.
