Salwan Momika, an Iraqi asylum seeker who had set fire to the Quran several times in Sweden two years ago, was shot dead. According to local media reports, Salwan Momika was killed by gunfire on Wednesday night, February 10, in his apartment during a live broadcast on the TikTok network in the southern suburbs of Stockholm. According to the French news agency, after reports of his murder were published in the Swedish press, the country’s police also confirmed the news. A criminal court was scheduled to hear a complaint against Momika on Thursday morning on charges of insult and hate speech.
