Israel’s attack on an Iranian car manufacturing plant in Syria
Syrian state media and a monitoring organization say that Israel targeted three trucks carrying food and medicine destined for Lebanon inside the Iranian Saipa car manufacturing plant in Syria.
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that in the attack on Sunday, October 7, three aid workers were injured.
The official Syrian news agency also confirmed the attack on the Civico company plant, in which Saipa holds an 80% share, claiming that the attack also resulted in financial damages.
This company was established in 2007 to produce the Pride car and has been halted several times.
