Joe Biden is feeling good and has no issues after contracting COVID.
The White House announced on Thursday that President Joe Biden had tested positive for the coronavirus during his trip to Las Vegas as part of his election campaign, citing mild symptoms of the disease.
The Middle East newspaper website wrote that the 81-year-old Biden, before boarding his presidential plane heading home to Delaware, told reporters, ‘I feel good.’
This news came moments after the head of a Latin American union announced that Biden had contacted him to apologize for his inability to deliver a speech to its members after testing positive for the virus.
Janet Murguía, head of Unidos, said she only spoke with President Biden over the phone and he expressed his deep regret for not being able to join us this afternoon.
The White House stated that Biden is suffering from a runny nose, cough, and general fatigue, and is currently receiving the COVID antiviral drug Paxlovid.
It added that his symptoms are still mild, his breathing is normal, his body temperature is normal, and his pulse is also normal.
