Judiciary pursues users who engage in Iranophobia in cyberspace

The Judiciary pursues users who engage in Iranophobia in cyberspace.

The Iranian Judiciary states that social media users who spread Iranophobia will be legally pursued.

Esfandiar Baharmast, the Judiciary spokesperson, stated today that legal actions will be taken promptly, in cooperation with relevant authorities, against those who engage in Iranophobia and create conditions that prevent individuals from returning to the country.

He mentioned that the Cyber Prosecutor’s Office, in collaboration with security and law enforcement authorities, including the Ministry of Intelligence, the Intelligence Organization of the IRGC, and the Law Enforcement Force Information Organization, have a permanent committee that monitors social networks and reports to the prosecutor’s office.

In recent years, the detention of Iranian immigrants traveling to Iran, especially Iranians with European and American citizenship, has significantly increased.

The United States, Britain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Sweden are among the governments that have recently warned their citizens, especially those of Iranian descent, about the risks of traveling to Iran.
