Justin Trudeau, in a meeting with the families of the victims of Flight 752, said today we mourn with you.
On the eve of the third anniversary of the missile strikes by the IRGC on the Ukrainian passenger flight 752, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has met with the families of the victims of this flight.
In this meeting, the Prime Minister and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Transportation emphasized Canada’s commitment, along with the International Coordination and Response Group, to hold Iran accountable for the deaths of the passengers of this plane.
Three years ago, on January 8, 2020, 176 passengers of the Tehran to Ukraine flight were killed by two surface-to-air missiles fired by the IRGC’s defense system.
Iran says the incident was due to human error.
Justin Trudeau, in his meeting with the families of the victims of Flight 752, said nothing can lessen the pain of losing a loved one, but Canada continues to stand by the families of the victims and persistently seeks justice for these families and accountability from those responsible. Mr. Trudeau added, today we mourn with you.
