Karbasschi: Mr. Hashemi never thought of guiding society with force

The former Secretary-General of the Construction Party, at the unveiling ceremony of the latest memoirs of Hashemi Rafsanjani, said: I remember when I was in the municipality, he had an opinion on Tehran’s cultural issues, and I would go to him. When Mr. Khatami resigned and Mr. Mirsalim was introduced as the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, I asked Mr. Hashemi how you went from Mr. Khatami to Mr. Mirsalim.

He replied that these matters will become clear in the future. They think that in cultural issues, they can proceed by force.

He added that today we also see in issues like hijab, which they once wanted to impose by force, they are forced to surrender.
