Khorasan Razavi Judiciary Announces Cash Fines for Some Protesters

The judiciary of Khorasan Razavi province announced the cash fines imposed on some of the protesters.

According to IRNA news agency, the head of the judiciary in Khorasan Razavi stated that a number of protesters have been sentenced to pay a cash fine of 170 million tomans.

Gholamali Sadeghi, who referred to these protesters as agitators, accused them of setting fire to a car and the computer network controlling the city’s surveillance cameras in Mashhad during the protests.

During the recent suppression of protests, the authorities of the Islamic Republic have consistently accused the protesters of vandalism and damaging public property.

At the same time, numerous images were circulated on social networks showing government-affiliated forces, including armed individuals from special units of the law enforcement and plainclothes personnel, attacking the homes and vehicles of citizens.
