Macron as Europe’s Leader in Cooperation and Confrontation with America
Emmanuel Macron’s trip to the United States brought new achievements and positioned him on a path to success, reaching a status previously held by Angela Merkel, the former Chancellor of Germany, and it must be said that he has practically surpassed this position.
During his trip, he succeeded in convincing Biden to at least reconsider the serious supportive plans of the American government for American industries and the massive budget for American production power, which are detrimental to Europeans. The new development in the French president’s politics is his significant role in shaping the policies of Western allies against Vladimir Putin.
Macron has managed to establish his own specific concepts, and he is practically the one who plans the potential negotiations with Putin. In this new development, the French president is calling for precise Western policies to provide guarantees and specific policies to Putin, should the Russian leader be willing to sit at the negotiation table. He also compelled Biden to publicly show a willingness to negotiate with Putin.
