Iran News Agency confirmed the qualification of Masoud Pezeshkian and Ali Motahari.
An informed source, in an interview with an IRNA reporter, announced the qualification of 30 current representatives of Tehran by the Guardian Council for the twelfth term of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
The source stated that the Guardian Council has examined the qualifications of the volunteers for a period of 50 days and the evaluations have reached their final stage. In addition to confirming the qualifications of Tehran representatives, a significant number of volunteers who were initially disqualified or had their credentials not verified by the Executive Board have had their qualifications confirmed after their objections were reviewed by the Guardian Council. Ali Motahari, Masoud Pezeshkian, Mohammad Reza Nobakht, and Gholamreza Tajgardoon are among these well-known figures.
The review of the files has been completed based on inquiries from relevant authorities and local investigations, and by the end of today, the Guardian Council’s supervisory boards will announce the results to the governorates. The governors will then inform the volunteers of the final qualification results on the 14th of Dey month.
