The municipality of Novelle Loushato covered the image of Khomeini, the reason for this action is the ongoing protests in Iran.
According to news media, the municipality of Novelle Loushato, the residence of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the former leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in France, has decided to cover his picture in his temporary residence in this town.
Mr. Khomeini moved to this location from Iraq before the occurrence of the 1357 revolution, and it was from there that he came to Iran to seize power.
This billboard was installed on the occasion of that in front of a private villa.
According to the French television network, Biamaf TV, this decision was made at the request of the International Women’s Union, representing a group of 40 non-governmental organizations.
These organizations, based on the tragic events happening in Iran, have requested the covering of this billboard.
