Metro Cameras Are Unable to Recognize Individuals' Faces

The metro cameras are not capable of facial recognition.

The cameras inside the train and on the platform record images, but they are not processed, and the only solution is to zoom in on the individual’s face.

Previously, Mohammad Saleh Hashemi Golpayegani, the secretary of the Headquarters for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, had stated that with today’s technology, it is possible to match images with national ID card photos.
