Minister of Culture on Government Forces' Presence at the World Cup: We Allocated Quotas, They Provided Lists

The Minister of Culture said about the presence of government forces at the World Cup: We allocated quotas, they provided lists.

Mohammad Mehdi Esmaeili stated that I have asked for the list of journalists who went to the World Cup in Qatar to be published, and if there are any criticisms, we should hold a meeting with the media on this matter.

Saying that the presence of these individuals at the World Cup had no achievements is premature judgment, but we tried to have representatives from all active media.

Regarding some who had no connection to sports and were not sports journalists, it must be said that we informed the media, and they introduced journalists. We did not make the selection; we allocated quotas to news agencies and newspapers.

I cannot make decisions on behalf of the media directors.
