8 people died due to coronavirus in the past week, according to the Ministry of Health

In the past week, 8 people have died due to COVID-19 in the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry of Health’s Public Relations and Information Center released the following statement on the latest status of COVID-19 in the country over the past week.

From last Monday, February 24th, to yesterday, March 3rd, 354 new cases of COVID-19 were identified in the country based on definitive diagnostic criteria, and 280 of them were hospitalized.

The total number of COVID-19 patients in the country has reached 7,627,863.

Unfortunately, in the past 7 days, 8 COVID-19 patients in the country lost their lives, bringing the total number of fatalities from this disease to 146,837.
