Mohammad Eskandari has been sentenced to 18 months of imprisonment and 2 years of suspended imprisonment.

Mohammad Masoud Eskandari, a doctoral student in Microbial Biotechnology at Shahrekord University, has been convicted of insulting Islamic sanctities, insulting the Supreme Leader, insulting the founder of the Islamic Republic, and promoting against the Islamic Republic. He has been sentenced to 18 months of imprisonment, a fine, and 2 years of suspended imprisonment.

It should be noted that this student was arrested following the publication of news about the kidnapping of Professor Daryoush Farhoud, the father of genetics in Iran, on November 23rd and was released on bail on November 28th.
