Mohammad Nahavandian Hopes the Confidentiality from Events of 2018 and 2019 is Lifted

Mohammad Nahavandian wishes the confidentiality on the events of the years 2018 and 2019 would be lifted.

The book ‘Without Smoke, Fire, and Blood’ with the subtitle ‘An Investigative Report on the Effects of Sanctions on Iran’s Economy’ is written by Behrad Mehrjoo, Vali Khalili, and Arash Pour Ebrahimi. This book contains untold narratives from within the Twelfth Government, focusing primarily on the historical period of the U.S. withdrawal from the JCPOA, the unprecedented sanctions imposed by Donald Trump’s administration against Iran, and the impact of these actions on the country’s economy.

Mohammad Nahavandian, the economic deputy of Hassan Rouhani’s government, in a part of the book, in conversation with the authors, has spoken about the rising trend of currency prices in the market, difficulties in supplying certain goods, and the emergence of a new wave of protests against the government, and in general, all the events that engulfed the country from 2018 to the end of Rouhani’s administration.

I wish the confidentiality on the events and incidents of these years would be lifted so that we could refer to the details; then people would be informed and know what happened to this country.
