The identity of Mohsen Borhani, the lawyer of the deceased Ajamian's killer, is unknown, so blood money must be paid.

It is not clear who killed the late Ajamian, so blood money should have been paid.

Mohsen Borhani, a lawyer and judicial expert, and a member of the faculty of law at the University of Tehran, criticized the issuance and execution of the death sentence for Mohammad Mehdi Karami and Mohammad Hosseini in a tweet, stating that they have not committed intentional murder.

This judicial attorney wrote that it was not intentional murder because more than twenty people struck the late Ajamian.

He then asked which blow caused their death and answered that it is not clear.

Mr. Borhani further wrote that with the absence of evidence of intentional murder and the unknown identity of the killer, blood money should be paid, which may be the reason why the sentence of retribution was not issued.
