Mojgan Inanlou's Court Session Held

Mojgan Inanloo’s court session was held

The court session to address the charges against documentary filmmaker Mojgan Inanloo was held in Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran.

During this session, which was held in Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court presided over by Judge Afshari, Ms. Inanloo faced charges of assembly and collusion and committing crimes against internal and external security, propaganda against the Islamic Republic system, encouraging people to corruption and prostitution, and disrupting public order and peace.

This session was held without prior notice to this documentary filmmaker and her family, in a non-public manner and without the presence of her chosen lawyer.

According to this report, Mojgan Inanloo, rejecting these charges, deemed the holding of the court session without following legal procedures as illegal and considered expressing opposition as her definite and citizen’s right, reminding that over the past years, as a documentary filmmaker and social activist, she has tried to defend the violated rights of women and girls in Iran.
