Nasser Kanani made a grave mistake by not inviting Iran to the Munich Security Conference

Nasser Kanaani’s mistake was not inviting Iran to the Munich Security Conference.

Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has harshly criticized the exclusion of Iranian and Russian officials from the Munich Security Conference and called it a grave mistake.

Mr. Kanaani has also criticized the organizers of the Munich Conference for inviting Prince Reza Pahlavi and a group of opponents of the Islamic Republic of Iran to this year’s conference.

He stated that Mr. Pahlavi’s presence at this conference was a slap in the face to the Iranian people.

During the Munich Security Conference, where Iranian officials were not invited, several figures opposing the Iranian government, including Reza Pahlavi, called for an end to international support for the Iranian government.

No officials from Russia and North Korea were invited to this year’s Munich Conference either.
