Nemat Ahmadi, a lawyer and advocate, argues that restrictions on likes and dislikes for influential figures in the country are also criminal

Namat Ahmadi, a legal expert and attorney, stated to Khabar Online news agency that having a channel or account on social media for all influential individuals in the country means that they are criminals.

First, it must be determined in the law whether a matter is considered a crime. Therefore, making such statements has neither a religious nor a legal aspect, and it does not align with people’s freedoms. It is merely a non-expert opinion.

If these cases are implemented in some courts, one should seek refuge in God, because the most important principle in the law is the principle of legality of the crime and punishment. This means that the legislator must first define the crime and then define the punishment for it.
