Obama's reaction to the Biden-Trump debate should send a strong message to his rival

Obama’s reaction to the Biden-Trump debate sent strong messages to his rival.

Former US President Barack Obama admitted that Joe Biden had a poor performance during the first 2024 election debate, but at the same time, he sent strong messages to his rival, Donald Trump.

In a post on social media, Obama wrote, ‘A bad debate happened. I know you trust me, but this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary people throughout their life and another person who only cares about themselves.’

He continued in his message, ‘This election is between someone who tells the truth, distinguishes right from wrong, and delivers it directly to the American people, and another person who lies for their own interests. The debate did not change this issue, and that’s why a lot is at stake in our November election.’

The first presidential debate for the 2024 US election was held on Thursday night, with Joe Biden, the Democratic Party nominee, and Donald Trump, the Republican Party nominee, expressing their views on various issues.
