According to the Statistical Center of Iran, the average price of one square meter of housing in Tehran for December 2022 was announced as 54 million and 963 thousand Tomans. This figure is 45 million Tomans higher than the housing price in December of this year.

Based on this report, the monthly inflation rate for housing in December reached nearly 10%, which is close to five times the critical inflation rate. According to the definitions of the Statistical Center, a monthly inflation rate of 25% is considered critical inflation.

This figure is the highest monthly housing inflation rate in the capital in the past decade.

This report also announced the inflation rate of housing points in December as 66%.

The highest inflation rate of housing points in the past two years was recorded in April 2021 with a figure of 826%.
