Pezeshkian: If a protest is approved by the authorities, then it’s not a protest

Pezeshkian, a member of parliament, said that if a protest is approved by the authorities, then it’s not a protest. A protest means someone who opposes something comes and protests. At the beginning of the revolution, we didn’t allow everyone who had a protest to come and protest.

Today, various groups have protests, but we haven’t allowed protests, and this protest has turned into a shout. Unfortunately, many laws have not been implemented, or no law has been enacted to allow people to protest, and we say this to every government.

Regarding Article 15 of the Constitution, when we insist, they say you are Pan-Turkism or Pan-Kurdism. If the Constitution has a problem, we should amend it. The law even states that you can only hold detainees for 24 hours; more than that is a crime. But if you protest, they arrest you, and when we protest somewhere, they label people. All these events give excuses to enemies and allow them to use this situation.
