At 11 am today, on the 2nd of Esfand, the police of the capital received a report of a shooting on Bahonar Street near Quds Square to the 122 police station.

A 60-year-old man, covered in blood, who had been shot in the back, was transferred to Tajrish Martyrs Hospital.

By monitoring the surveillance cameras at the scene and receiving information from the building’s caretaker, it was determined that the assailant was his brother, who shot him from behind with a handgun and then drove over him multiple times with his Peugeot 207 before fleeing the scene.

Currently, the victim’s condition is critical, and the available evidence indicates that family issues are the cause of this incident.

The assailant is currently being pursued by the police.
