202 people were killed during the protests of 1401 according to the report of the appointed committee

The report of the committee appointed by Raisi stated that 202 people were killed during the protests in 1401.

A task force established by order of Ebrahim Raisi to investigate the protests in 1401 announced in their statements that 202 people were killed in these protests and mentioned that legal cases were opened for 34,000 individuals related to the protests.

This statement, released by the committee known as the Special Committee to Investigate the Unrest of 1401, on Monday, 27th of Esfand, states that 202 people lost their lives during the protests that began after the death of Mahsa Amini in Iran. However, the responsibility for the killings, even of a single protesting citizen, has not been attributed to the governmental law enforcement and security authorities.

In this report, 90 of the deceased are accused of carrying and using cold or hot weapons in terrorist acts, engaging in clashes, attacking military and law enforcement headquarters, vital infrastructures, or law enforcement personnel, and it states that they were killed for these reasons.

The task force appointed by Ebrahim Raisi also mentions that 112 of the deceased were passersby who were killed by protesters who referred to them as rioters.
