Ghalehnoei resigns from coaching the national team

Amir Ghalehnoei, the coach of Gol Gohar Sirjan, and Saket Elhami, a fan coach, have resigned from coaching the Iranian national football team. Ghalehnoei wrote in an Instagram story that he had prepared a comprehensive plan, but did not mention why he resigned from the national team.

Yesterday, the names of several local coaches were mentioned for the national team, but last night Amir Mahdi Alavi, the public relations manager of the Football Federation, said that priority is given to a foreign coach.

Ghalehnoei also wrote that the places of Yahya Golmohammadi, Mohammad Rabiei, and Mojtaba Hosseini were empty in this list. Ghalehnoei also made allusions to the dire economic situation of the Iranian people these days.
